I was born and raised in Montana. I grew up on ranch in the foothills of the Tobacco Root Mountains. I’ve spent life outdoors enjoying and appreciating what ranch life and nature has to offer during all the beautiful seasons. Photography has always been a passion of mine, from the baby animals on the ranch to the bounty of Alaska and everything in between. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors and everything that comes with it, from riding my motorcycle, camping, hiking, fishing, etc...to reading a good book or building an igloo with my kids, all the while my camera is capturing these wonderful and amazing events.
I find that photography is a very rewarding challenge. I am constantly asking myself how to capture the sound that a creek or a waterfall makes, or how to honestly capture the beauty of a delicate wildflower. I am privileged to live in a beautiful area and enjoy capturing images of the incredible beauty found in the outdoors to share with other people. Most rewarding is being able to capture and share moments in other people’s lives such as the innocence of a baby or the happiness in a brides face. The pride and joy that come with capturing the momentous occasions and being able to tell their stories through photography is my passion. To know that I have captured the feelings of the occasion and being able to give that back is one of my greatest rewards.

Hi, I’m Lori.
When I look through my old pictures they bring back fond memories of: traveling the beautiful West Coast with my sister, living in the Colorado Rockies, trips to Maine where the seafood is awesome, and watching the storms in Nebraska and Wyoming. Now I live in Montana near a creek with the mountains practically in my back yard. Yellowstone, Teton and Glacier National Parks are close; opportunities to create great images are everywhere.
I enjoy traveling as well as staying at home with a good book, but hardly ever pass up an opportunity to use my camera. Waterfalls, landscapes and abstracts were my favorite subjects for years and then I discovered a love for people in my images. Capturing images of babies, grandparents, engaged couples, brides, grooms and family portraits has become my primary focus (yes, I still love shooting waterfalls and landscapes and I dream of traveling to other parts of the world to do that).
Thanks for visiting our site. Hopefully you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed making them.
